Background

As of September 15, 2021, Lancium's expected completion date of the first 25 MW phase of the project was the first quarter of 2022, with full capacity of 325 MW by the end of 2022. [1] The first phase consists of 100,000 square feet of floor space.[2] The site is located at a substation that utilizes grid power; it is unclear why Lancium calls the project a "clean campus" as no evidence has been found to suggest that the operation is deriving its power from carbon-free sources of electricity and no power purchase agreements have been found with renewable energy producers. However, an agreement was signed with Broad Reach Power to allow for access to battery power.[3]
