Background

As of December 2019, the LNG database published by GIE (Gas Infrastructure Europe) listed the Frederikshavn LNG Terminal as a small LNG import terminal under development by Gasnor AS, with an anticipated capacity of 0.05 mtpa per year.[1] As of June 2022, the terminal no longer appears in GIE's database, and there has been no further mention of it in press or company reports, so it is presumed to be shelved.
