Background
In 2016, a low-capacity power unit (below 30 MW) began operating at the power station in Fujian Province, China.[5] An additional 45 MW power station was proposed to be built at the same location by the Fujian Funeng Long'an Cogen Power Company.[6]
The project was listed on a provincial key projects list in 2023[7]. The boiler hydrostatic test was completed successfully[8]. The chimney top for the desulfurization tower was positioned in September 2023[9]. The unit completed its 96-hour trial run in April 2024[10].
