Fushun New Steel Co Ltd (抚顺新钢铁有限责任公司) is a blast furnace-basic oxygen furnace (BF-BOF) steel plant operating in Fushun, Liaoning, China.

Background
According to the announcement of capacity replacement in July 2019, the company plans to replace existing BOFs with two 120-tonne BOFs. However, as of the end of 2021, there is no information on further construction or planned abolition.[1]#1 BOF was put into operation in April 2022.[2]
According to the announcement of the capacity replacement plan in November 2021, the company plans to build two 1200m3 blast furnaces and one HIsmelt smelting reduction furnace. One blast furnace is expected to be put into operation in 2024, and the other is expected to be put into operation in 2025. The smelting reduction furnace is expected to be put into operation in 2025. [3]
