The Galán-Ayacucho 18" Oil Pipeline, known locally as Oleoducto Galán-Ayacucho 18", is an oil pipeline in Colombia.

Location

The pipeline runs from Ecopetrol's Ayacucho station, in the department of Cesar, to Ecopetrol's Galán station at the Barrancabermeja Refinery Complex in the department of Santander, Colombia. En route, the pipeline passes through Ecopetrol's Isla VI pumping station in Puerto Wilches, Santander department.[1][2]

Background

According to Colombia's Ministry of Mines and Energy, the pipeline can be used to transport both crude oil and fuel oil (diesel).[1]
