Background

Along with the merger of Lotos Group, PKN Orlen and Energa are exploring a proposed combined-cycle gas plant at the Lotos refinery to supply steam to the site.[6] This construction is also noted in Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne SA's plan for the adaptation of the electricity transmission system between 2020 and 2030.[7]
