Background

The plant powers the Colakoglu Metalurji A.S. steelworks. The company publishes its environmental policy, and environmental product declarations which state the CO2 emitted during manufacturing of 2 products.[1]

Çolakoğlu Metalurji's 2023 Sustainability Report specified that the power station consisted of two boilers.[2] Because the power station had a total capacity of 190 MW, the two units were presumed to have a 95 MW capacity.
