The Global Solar Power Tracker aims to comprehensively track all large utility-scale solar project phases with capacities greater than 20 Megawatts (MW). However, the tracker currently uses a lower capacity threshold of 10 Megawatts (MW) for large utility-scale project phases for Arabic-speaking nations of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
List of MENA Countries
Global Energy Monitor tracks projects located in independent states or non-self-governing territories, including Western Sahara and Palestine, separately.
