Background

The power station is owned and operated by PGE Energia Ciepła SA[6], a subsidiary of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A.[7] It is located in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Lubuskie Province, Poland.[8]

In a 2017 (H1) PGE report, the 30 MW coal-fired Unit 4 was excluded from the power station's capacity, listing only the two gas-fueled units and one 32 MW hard coal-fired unit (Unit 3) which was scheduled for retirement in 2023.[9]
