The Greenside coal mine is an underground mine, operated by Thungela Resources Limited, a subsidiary of Anglo American,[1] in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga, South Africa.[2]

The Greenside coal mine was previously owned by Anglo American.[2] However, on June 4, 2021, Anglo American completed the demerger of its South African thermal coal assets, including the Greenside Mine, into a newly incorporated company, Thungela Resources Limited (Thungela).[3]
