Guacolda

Guacolda is a Chilean generator founded in 1992. Guacolda operates four 152MW thermo plants at its Huasco power station complex in region III. Guacolda is the country's largest importer of bituminous and sub-bituminous coal. Chilean generator AES Gener (part of US-based AES Corp.) and fuel distributor Copec are shareholders in the firm.[1]
