Background

The Guangdong West Gas Pipeline Network was a major part of Guandong Province's 13th Five-Year Plan (2016–2020).[3]

  • As of September 2021, no further details for the Zhanjiang-Xuwen Pipeline 湛江-徐闻干线 can be found.
  • The Zhaoqing-Yunfu Pipeline 肇庆-云浮支干线 is an operating pipeline. It starts at Jindu, Gaoyao District, Zhaoqing City and ends at Silao, Yuncheng District, Yunfu City, with a total length of 42.9 kilometers.[4] Construction began on on October 23, 2018 and was completed on September 25, 2020.[4]
  • The Yangjiang-Jiangmen Pipeline 阳江-江门输气干线 was publicly announced on August 30, 2018, prior to approval on .[5]
  • Construction of the Maoming-Yangjiang Pipeline 茂名-阳江干线 began in March 2020 and was estimated to be completed by a 2021 commission date.[6][7] The pipeline's purposes was to serve Maoming and Ynagjiang, which experienced local gas shortages.
  • The Yangjiang LNG Terminal Transport Pipeline 阳江LNG外输管线 was expected to begin in 2020, and commissioning in 2023.[8] However, as of September 2021 construction had not yet been reported.
