Guangzhou Pearl River LNG power station (广州珠江LNG电厂) is an operating power station of at least 1980-megawatts (MW) in Guangzhou, Nansha District, Guangdong, China. It is also known as Guangzhou Pearl River Natural Gas Power Generation, Guangzhou Zhujiang LNG station.

Background
The first phase of Guangzhou Pearl River LNG power station (广州珠江LNG电厂) (Unit1-1 and 1-2) uses natural gas from Australia. The project was officially approved by the National Development and Reform Commission on December 14, 2002, and construction began on December 28, 2004. Unit 1-1 and Unit 1-2 started commercial operations on December 24, 2006, and March 14, 2007, respectively.[10]
The second phase of Guangzhou Pearl River LNG power station (广州珠江LNG电厂) (Unit 2-1 and 2-2) received approval from the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission on November 25, 2020, and officially entered the construction phase on October 28, 2021. Unit 2-1 commenced commercial operations on October 26, 2023, and Unit 2-2 is scheduled to start commercial operations in 2023.[11][12]
