Background on Project

Manshi Group has proposed a 2 x 660 MW ultra-supercritical power station for Longkou Town in Junggar Banner. A pre-feasibility study has been submitted,[1] and the construction site approved.[2]

Due to new restrictions announced during 2016 by the National Energy Administration and the National Development and Reform Commission, further capacity expansions at this location appear to be on hold or cancelled.
