Guyang Jinshan Cogen power station (蒙能包头固阳金山热电厂) is an operating power station of at least 700-megawatts (MW) in Jinshan, Guyang, Baotou, Inner Mongolia, China. It is also known as 新恒丰热电 (Unit 1), 包头市新恒丰能源公司 (Unit 2).

Background on Project
Inner Mongolia Energy Generation & Investment Group is seeking approval for a 2 x 350 MW supercritical power station at Jinshan, Guyang County.[2] It is described as a captive power plant for the East Hope Group.[3]
The plant was permitted in November 2015.[4] It is planned for operation in 2017. The plant is for residential heating and is a considered a poverty reduction project.[5]
Planet satellite imagery suggests construction began in June 2017 and then proceeded rapidly. The plant is planned for operation in 2019.[3]
Units 1 and 2 were commissioned in September 2019.[6][7]
