Background on Project
Lu'an Group and Sinomach are seeking approval for a 2 x 350 MW supercritical coal plant.[2][3]
The plant was permitted in March 2016. Although construction was reported in May 2016,[4] satellite photos through June 2018 only show land clearance.
An EPC contract was signed in May 2021.[5]
This project showed minimal activity after March 2024, with no construction progress or significant news[6]. The project was marked as shelved in December 2024.
