Background

The proposed capacity swap project plans to build one BF(1x1500m3) and two BOF (2x100-tonne), with an ironmaking capacity of 1.3 million tons and a steelmaking capacity of 2.3 million tons. The project has put into operation in June 2023.[1] The environmental impact assessment report was approved in November 2021.[2]
