Background
The first phase of Hebei Taihang Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. Gas Power Project (河北太行钢铁集团有限公司高炉煤气余热发电工程) for waste heat power generation includes a total of 4 steam turbine generator units. Unit 1-1 and Unit 1-2 completed construction in February 2022. [10]Unit 1-3 and Unit 1-4 completed construction in November 2022.[11] In July 2023, the successful grid connection of Unit 1-4 marked the comprehensive completion and commencement of operation of this project.[12]
