Heidelberg Materials Paderborn Cement Plant (Paderberg Zementwerk) is an integrated cement plant operating (pre-retirement) in Paderborn, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany.
Location
The map below shows the exact location of the cement plant in Paderborn, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany[1]:
Coordinates (WGS 84): 51.698605, 8.745713 (exact)[2]
Background
The Paderborn cement plant first began production in 1926.[3] Eventually incorporated into international cement giant Heidelberg Materials, in recent years the plant produced exclusively Ternocem, the company's low-emissions cement made with alternative materials and lower kiln temperatures.[4] Plant capacity was reportedly under half a million tonnes per year.[5]
In March 2026, the company announced that the Paderborn cement plant would be retired.[6]
