Helwan Cement Company Abu Saffar Cement Plant (مصنع اسمنت صخر السودان التكامل), also known as Al Takamol Cement Plant, is an integrated cement plant operating in Abu Saffar, River Nile, Sudan.

Background
The Al Takamol Cement Plant began production in 2010, having been built with the help of an Egyptian company which was also paid to operate the plant for several years.[3][4] In 2020, after several years of self-operation, the Egyptian company ASEC was again contracted to operate the plant, leading to a conflict when local Sudanese workers were replaced by Egyptians.[5] The plant has a total production capacity of around 1.6 million tonnes annually.[6]
