Background
Huadian Tengger 4×1000MW coal power project will be used as a peak-shaving power supply for the Tengger Desert Clean Energy Base to support its electricity exports.[1]
The feasibility study was passed in March 2023.[2] Boiler, steam turbine, and generator procurement bidding was called in May 2023.[3]
In July 2023, Harbin Electric Machinery Co., Ltd. won a bid for plant's turbine generators and ancillary equipment.[4]
