Huaneng Changxing power station (华能长兴电厂) is an operating power station of at least 1320-megawatts (MW) in Zhicheng Town, Changxing, Huzhou, Zhejiang, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as 华能长兴电厂一期; Zheneng Changxing power station (Phase I Unit 1, Phase I Unit 2), 华能长兴电厂四期 (Phase IV Unit 1, Phase IV Unit 2).

Background

Two 135 MW units of Huaneng Changxing power station have been retired. [1] The plant is owned by China Huaneng.[2][3][4]

Two new 660 MW units (units 3-4) were added to the power station, in a different location from the retired units.[5] Unit new 1 began operating in 2014,[6] and unit new 2 in 2015.[7]
