Background
The Phase I of this project received approval from the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission in August 2015. It officially entered construction on December 26, 2017[13], and went into operation on August 27, 2020.[14]
The Phase II of this project received approval from the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission in February 2022. [15]It officially entered construction in May 2023[16], and it is expected to start operation in the second half of 2024.[17]
