Hunter 4

The first two units of the Hunter Power Plant were built in 1980; the third was built in 1983. In 2001, PacifiCorp completed initial engineering work on a fourth unit. The company submitted a partial Notice of Intent in 2003,[1] but does not appear to have subsequently pursued the project.
On Jan. 18, 2007, the Oregon Public Utility Commission ruled that PacifiCorp had failed to prove a need for Hunter Unit 4.[2] PacifiCorp has not mentioned Hunter Unit 4 in any filings with the state in the past eighteen months; the project appears to be defunct.[3]
