The Hunter Valley South coal mine is a surface mine located in Lemington, New South Wales, Australia. Alongside Hunter Valley North coal mine, it comprises the Hunter Valley Operations (HVO) — a joint venture between Yancoal Australia (51%) and Glencore (49%).[1]
