Background
The planned 400 MW cogen power station would allegedly consist of 2 X 40 MW units and 2 x 160 MW units. [4] The project was permitted in September 2022.[5]
In December 2022, the project reportedly selected Energy China Hunan Research Institute as the winning bidder to conduct a feasibility study and survey for the proposed project.[6]
Construction began in March 2023.[7]
