Background

The plant began operating in 2012 and powers IRPC's petrochemical factory in Rayong, which produces liquid petroleum gas, naphtha, gasoline, and diesel.[1] The power plant has a 307 MW capacity.[2]

IRPC Clean Power Co.

IRPC Clean Power Co., Ltd. (IRPC-CP) is a small power producer (SPP). IRPC holds 48.99% of its shares and Global Power Synergy Plc. holds 51%.[3]

IRPC Deep Sea Port, Rayong

As of early 2021, the Bulk & Container Terminal (BCT) was 900 meters long and 44 meters wide. It comprised six berths, which accommodated vessels of various sizes, ranging from 800 to 150,000 DWT. They handled various commodities including coal.[3]
