Indigenous Environmental Network

From Global Energy Monitor

Indigenous Environmental Network (IEN) was formed in 1990 by grassroots indigenous peoples to address environmental and economic justice issues. IEN seeks to build economically sustainable communities, and to increase the capacity of indigenous communities and tribal governments to develop mechanisms to protect sacred sites, natural resources, and the health of all living things.[1]
