Aroskraft-1 power station

Aroskraft-1 power station is an operating power station of at least 356-megawatts (MW) in Västerås, Västmanland County, Sweden with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as Västerås.

Background

Mälarenergi currently operates two biomass-fired CHP (combined heat and power) units at location of the former coal-fired power plant in Västmanland, Västmanland County, Sweden.[10]. Block 6 began operating in 2014[11], and Block 7 followed in 2019.[12]
