JSW ISPAT Steel, which is a subsidiary of JSW Steel which in turn is a part of the JSW Group in India, controlled by the billionaire Jindal family. In December 2010 JSW Steel bought a controlling interest in Ispat Industries. Following the acquisition, the merged companies are to be known as JSW Ispat Steel Ltd.
