Background

Itoigawa power station is a coal-fired power station in Chūbu Prefecture, Japan.[1] The power station co-fires wood.[2]

The power station was the first use of a CFB boiler by an independent power producer in Japan.[3]

In August 2022, J-POWER transferred its shares in Itoigawa Power to erex Co., Ltd.[4]
