Iwanuma Mill power station (日本製紙 岩沼工場) is an operating power station of at least 158-megawatts (MW) in Iwanuma Mill, Iwanuma, Miyagi, Tohoku, Japan with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating. It is also known as Nippon Paper (NPI) Iwanuma Mill power station, Nippon Paper (NPI) Iwanuma Mill 4-3 (Unit 3), Nippon Paper (NPI) Iwanuma Mill 6-6 (Unit 4).

Background
The mill began operations in 1968 with Unit 1 being commissioned that year and Unit 2 in 1969.[3] Unit 3 was commissioned in 1991.[3] Units 1 and 2 were retired in 2007 with the commissioning of the mill's new biomass-fired power plant.[4]
