Background

JK Cement Ltd. was established in 1974.[3]

JK White Cement Works, Gotan was established in 1984 and is the first limestone-based White cement plant in India that manufactured cement through dry process.[4] The plant had an initial production capacity of 50,000 tonnes.[5]

A divested plant in Gotan, Rajasthan was taken over by the company, upgraded and put to operations and is producing 0.4 MTPA grey cement.[6]

The plant operates two production lines. Line 1 manufactures white cement and has a capacity of 1.51 million tonnes per annum (mtpa), while Line 2 manufactures grey cement and operates at a capacity of 0.24 mtpa.[7]
