Jaci power station (Usina Termelétrica Jaci) is a 618-megawatt (MW) gas-fired power station under construction in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Background

In July 2019, the Jaci plant was presented with a license and was receiving lots of support from the city of Macaé.[5] Installation began in 2020 following environmental impact studies.[6] The project was listed as a participant in Brazil's A-5 national energy auction in September 2021.[7]
