Background
This 450 MW power station, once completed, will be the largest power station in Palestine, and the first to run on natural gas.[6] Although scheduled for completion in 2021, construction was delayed, with commissioning of the station expected in 2023.[7]
Gas is expected to be supplied from Palestine's Gaza Marine Natural Gas Field.[8]
