Jilin Dongfang power station (吉林市亿斯特能源有限公司, 吉林市怡东热电有限公司整体搬迁工程, 吉林市东方电力公司整体搬迁新建发电厂) is an operating power station of at least 150-megawatts (MW) in Changyi, Jilin, China. It is also known as Jilin Dongguan power station relocation project 东关热电厂.

Background
Jilin Dongguan cogen power station located in 99 Liaobei Road, Changyi District Jilin City. It was built between 1997 and 2011 with four units totalling 74 megawatt of power capacity and supplying electricity to the Changyi district in the city of Jilin. [4] The operating company is Jilin Dongguan Thermal Power Company.[5]
A relocation project of Jilin Dongguan power station with three units of 50 MW each was announced in January 2020 as part of Jilin Province Energy Administration's plan for the upcoming year, along with eleven other thermal power projects.[6] It was approved in December 2020, for a total investment of 1.4 billion RMB (217 thousand USD).[7][8] The new location is in Fengman District of Jilin City, Jiangnan Town, Yong'an village. [9]
Construction was said to begin in June 2021; however, no confirmation of construction has been released.[8]
In March 2023, the project approval was extended to 29 December 2023[10]. Construction likely started in the second half of 2023.
By late 2024, satellite imagery showed the plant was in operation. The plant was renamed to 吉林市亿斯特能源有限公司[11]. Status changed to operating from second half of 2024.
