Background
As one of the peak-shaving supporting power sources for the Hexi clean energy base in the Tengger Desert, the Gansu Huadian Jinchang Tengger 2×1000MW coal power project started the project preparation stage in 2023. The call for the project environmental impact assessment was released on 1 February 2023[2] and the call for feasibility study design was announced at the end of March[3].
