Background
The Jojobera Cement Plant power station is a captive, coal-fired power station that was commissioned in 2021 to provide power for the Jojobera Cement Plant.[4] Nuvoco Vistas Corporation Ltd. owns the cement plant and its captive power station.[4]
The power station's Environmental Clearance was granted by the Jharkhand state level Environmental Impact Assessment Authority on August 2, 2019.[5][6][7]
This captive power station is not to be confused with the adjacent Jojobera Power Plant.
