Background

A pipeline named Godovič - Žiri - Škofja Loka was proposed as early as 2013, the proposal has since been updated to begin at Kalce.[4] A brief description of this proposed gas pipeline is featured in Plinovodi d.o.o's network development plan of 2022 and was given a start date of 2026.[2] The pipeline was also included in the 2025-2034 development plan, however, the start date had been removed. The project code in the plan is A6. The pipeline is set to be built in two phases. The first phase will be from Kalce to Godovič, the second from Godovič through Žiri to Škofja Loka. No other distinct project details were made available in the report.[1]
