Project-level captive use details
- Captive industry use (heat or power): cement & building
- Captive industry: Power
Background
The station supplies electricity solely to the Tarjun cement factory, operated by PT Indocement.[1][2]
In September 2022, Indocement began sourcing 50 MW of electricity from PLN in order to reduce the utilization of the captive power station. In addition, the power station was co-firing 18% rice husks, oil palm shells, and sawdust.[3]
