Background

The Kenai-Anchorage Pipeline transport natural gas from Kenai to Anchorage. The first pipeline, Kenai A, was constructed in 1961. A second parallel pipeline, Kenai B, was added in 1974. Each pipeline is offshore for 8 miles under Cook Inlet.[4]
