Background

In June of 2015, intentional damage to the pipeline resulted in the loss of 5.2 million cubic meters of natural gas, and requiring 105 working hours and $1.4 million USD for repairs.[1]

GTSOU closed the pipeline following damage as a result of shelling by Russian forces on March 6, 2022.[6] As of August 26, 2022, there has been no update.

In August 2023, as a result of the shelling near Kramatorsk, the pipeline was damaged again, but kept operating.[5]
