Lijialou Coal Mine (太原东山李家楼煤业有限公司) is an underground coal mine located in Taoyuan Village, Mayu Township, Qingxu County, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, China.[1]

Coal Mine Background

Lijialou Coal Mine is operated by Taiyuan Dongshan Lijialou Coal Industry Co., Ltd. It was formed by the merger and reorganization of 10 mines in 2013, with a 1.2 million tons/year production scale.[2]As of the end of January 2021, the approved production capacity was 2.1 million tons/year. [3]

At about 12:10 on November 7, 2018, a production accident occurred in the Lijialou Coal Mine, and one person died.[4]
