Background

The Linhares-Governador Valadares Gas Pipeline was originally announced in a December 2022 Brazilian government report listing prospective gas pipeline projects in Brazil.[2] An updated version of the report published in February 2025 continued to list the pipeline as an active project in the initial study phase.[1]
