Linsheng Coal Mine (沈阳焦煤股份有限公司林盛煤矿) is an underground coal mine located at No.2 Xiaolin Road, Linsheng Town, Sujiatun District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, China.[1]

Coal Mine Background

Linsheng Coal Mine belongs to Shenyang Coking Coal Co., Ltd., which was put into operation in November 1982, with a design production capacity of 0.9 million tons/year.[2] The approved production capacity in 2019 is 1.5 million tons per year.[3]

At 10:55 on May 13, 1985, a gas and coal dust explosion occurred in Linsheng Coal Mine, killing 36 people and injuring 13 people.[4] At 4 o'clock on July 28, 2012, a roof fall accident occurred in Linsheng Coal Mine, resulting in 1 death and at least 2 injuries.[5]
