Background

Lovapalem power station is a 1,000 megawatt coal-fired power station proposed for Lovapalem village, Visakhapatnam district, by the small engineering company My Home Power. It is listed on the India government's 2011 list of proposed coal projects.[1]

However, the project is not specifically listed as a part of My Home Power's "expansion plans" on its website, as of 2012.[2] As of 2014 the company website is no longer in existence.
