Background

Located at BASF's chemical industrial complex, the power station provides 544 MW of combined heat-and-power to the site.[5] Two units operate at the site, providing 47 MW and 498 through a gas-fired open-cycle gas turbine and a gas-fired combined-cycle turbine.[6]
