Luoding power station (粤电广东罗定发电厂, 云浮罗定电厂燃煤热电联产机组二期项目, 云浮罗定天然气热电联产项目) is an operating power station of at least 270-megawatts (MW) in Shuangdong District, Luoding, Yunfu, Guangdong, China with multiple units, some of which are not currently operating.

Background
Luoding power station is a two-unit coal-fired power plant with a total capacity of 270 MW. The plant was completed in 2004, and is owned by Guangdong Yudean Group. It is a CHP power plant, supplying heat and steam to Shuangdong Industrial Zone where it is located, besides power generation. [6]
On July 18, 2024, China Energy Engineering Group Guangzhou Electric Power Design Institute won the bid for the approval application report.[7]
Phase II CHP units appeared on a key projects list in 2024 and a feasibility study was underway.[8][9] No further news was reported through 2025, and the project was shelved in April 2026.
