Background

Luzhou Chuannan power station is a 2 x 600 MW coal plant that began operating in 2007-2008. It is owned by Sichuan Investment Group and China Huadian.

Proposed expansion

Two more units of 600 MW each are proposed, known as Luzhou Chuannan II.
