Background

The plant supplies power to businesses in the TECO Special Economic Zone in Pampanga Province, the Philippines.[1]

The power station reportedly co-fired with paper waste sludge and tires.[2]

As of November 2023, the power station still appeared in the Department of Energy's list of existing power plants, but with a reportedly reduced dependable capacity of 40 MW (down from the initially installed 52 MW). [3]
